2004 Holiday Card
For our 2004 Holiday card, we decided to use our updated logo as the central element in the design. Drew Goren and I did the design.
Chris Collins Clock
Chris Collins asked me to redo his corporate ID. I started off designing and building a 4' Cuckoo clock with an articulated bird that appears on the hour from behind a diaphragm and cuckoos the right number of times. From this we did the 2D graphics.
Clockwork-Apple Portfolio Case
I designed our portfolio case, 16 years ago, based on the cast iron and glass panels used on downtown Manhattan sidewalks to let light into basements. Every part was custom machined or vacuum formed. The aim was to make a very strong first impression on new clients. Photo: Rob Houston
Coffee Times Cart
I designed a coffee cart and logo for a coffee shop called COFFEE TIMES. The logo started off as a working clock, that was turned into a 2D print logo with the help of Aryeh Hecht.
Furniture Show Invitation
Coinciding with the 2004 ICFF, we had a show of my furniture at the Clockwork-Apple Gallery. To promote it, I designed this post card.
Gold Hamburger
This hamburger was machined and carved by hand, out of brass, and then gold plated. It was featured in an editorial in Men's Vogue. Photo: Robin Broadbent
Hearst "Conomikes" Shadow Box
We were given the job of taking the corporate and private life of a Hearst executive, and representing it in a shadow box. Material was provided by our client, but we had to give it some sense of order and continuity. There are lights in the box for night viewing.
Hearst Lobby Design 1
I was invited to compete against 5 other designers to create a permanent exhibit depicting the history of the Hearst Corporation in their new world headquarters. We won the competition, but before we could complete the construction, the project was cancelled. Photos: Christopher Farber
Hearst "Luciano" Shadow Box
A Hearst Corporation European Associate celebrated his 50th birthday. To honor him, I was asked to take a pile of images and facts about his life and turn it into a cohesive "shadow box". In this case, the theme was his boat, placed in the center, with the US on the left and Italy on the right. Everything from his birthplace, office and business.
Israeli Embassy Lobby
We were asked to redesign the lobby at the Israeli Embassy. Apart from upgrading the whole space, the main feature is this signage/seating/table/unit that we also built in oak. Photo: Tony Fuori
Manhattan Table
When I first came to Manhattan I was impressed by the industrial grittiness of the city. With the Manhattan table I tried to express that feeling in a piece of furniture, making it look like a cast iron manhole cover. Photo: Rob Houston

Rock-a-Billy
When my son Billy was born, I designed him a cradle that could be folded and stored. In developing the folding mechanism, it started resembling a boat. I then pushed the nautical theme throughout the design. I used bending poplar and stainless steel.
Rock'n Jock B-Ball Jam Trophies
MTV needed 6 Trophies for the Rock'n Jock B-Ball Jam. I designed it using foam core, and once approved, CNCd the pieces in aluminum, applied various finishes and assembled them. The base has a hidden counter weight to allow the sneaker to rock and rotate. Photo: Rick Burda
"Twister" Coffee Table
We designed and made this foldable table for the 1998 ICFF Furniture Show, to demonstrate our ability to take a simple concept, and turn it into a complex engineered solution. By twisting the top of the table, the legs rise up and lock together at coffee table height. We used aluminum and polycarbonate. Photo:Tony Fuori
Visa Robot Boy
This piece was made entirely out of sourced electronics. The pieces were then machined to look "generic". It was about 2.5 feet tall. Photos: Vincent Dixon
Vonage Media Wall
We designed and built this 8' tall wall for the Vonage headquarters in NJ. Each panel contains recent articles about Vonage and all are removable. The middle panel contains a flat screen TV. All of the lights are also removable and are independent from one another. The entire piece is made out of aluminum. Photos: Will Winburn
X Playground
This playground was fabricated out of water-jet cut aluminum Xs. It consisted of a Slide/See-Saw, Monkey Bars and a Merry-Go-Round. Photos: Will Winburn
Block Chair
For the 1998 ICFF I designed a number of foldable pieces of furniture, suitable for small apartments. The Block Chair starts off as a wooden block. When the legs fold out it becomes a stool or table and with the back rest out, it turns into a chair.
